2021 USW Cares Jefferson Award

Dear Daniel,

This year, more than ever, we want to honor you for all you do to take care of our communities. Click here to nominate an outstanding USW member today for a 2021 USW Cares Jefferson Award.

The awards may look a little different because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but as always, we’re relying on your nominations to tell us about members across the U.S. and Canada who deserve recognition for their service to the community.

We’re so proud of how Steelworkers stepped up to protect essential employees from the spread of the virus. Others organized COVID-safe fundraisers to purchase PPE for health care workers,  some went to work every day as an essential worker to keep our countries moving, and so much more.

Please tell us about your good works or the service of someone you know. Every single member deserves a nomination for the 2021 Awards and the deadline to nominate is fast approaching.

Winners are chosen from each district, staff and SOAR; each gets $500 towards the charity of their choosing, but the Top Winner get $1,000.

We are proud of the strength, compassion, and resilience our union has shown through the pandemic.

Please nominate for the USW Cares Jefferson Awards, today.

In Solidarity,

Tom Conway
USW International President
